“Going in we knew that Faribault had given Rochester a tough game and played the Hounds close twice. Our main goal was to stay focused and not overlook them. We knew we’d see their ace (Bendzick) and that if we were aggressive at the plate, we could take advantage of our team speed and put a lot of pressure on their defense. Huffman threw strikes early and often helping us gain early momentum. It was good to see Jason Denzer stroking the ball again, he will be an important piece of the puzzle when playoffs arrive.” Player/coach Josh Kunze |
